RETROFIT & BUILDING AUTOMATION

Smart homes in TherwilHead out. Know what stays on.

For your home in Therwil, an away routine can bring lighting, shading and door information into one understandable action. We start by agreeing what “everyone has left” should mean and which controls must stay available.

What I connected

A Nuki lock reports its state and actions over MQTT. A separate contact sensor monitors a different door; both appear in the home dashboard.

What we can do for you

Connect compatible lock information and door contacts, select useful notifications and show clearly which sensor reports which condition.

The practical detail

A locked state does not prove that a door is closed. This is status visibility, not a certified security or hotel access-control system.

A CLEAR STARTING POINT

Before the first device.

A useful routine, existing equipment and a clear handover come before a long shopping list.

How do you decide that everyone has left?

We agree the signals and exceptions with you. A phone location or Bluetooth estimate can help, but neither proves that a room is empty. Guests, children, pets and devices left at home need consideration. A manual away action can be the clearest first step.

What do you need for an initial enquiry?

Tell me the location, how the building is used and the routine you want to improve. A short list of existing devices helps. We then review goals, compatibility, access and a realistic first scope. Consultations and project discussions preferably in English.

What about building changes and electrical work?

We distinguish retrofit devices from changes to fixed installations. Compatibility, necessary permissions and responsibilities are reviewed first. Fixed-wiring work is carried out by an appropriately qualified electrical professional. Scope, travel and ongoing support are agreed separately.
