A room guests can understand.
Explore simple lighting scenes and gentle night lighting. Guests keep clear manual controls; occupancy-based behaviour needs testing in the room.
BASEL REGION · FROM BIEL-BENKEN
An intuitive room for guests. Clear controls for staff. Start with your operating needs and one pilot room before considering a wider rollout.

Review temperature and humidity visibility, then assess room settings against occupancy and service routines where existing equipment supports it.
Choose a small set of equipment or sensor alerts and selected energy readings. Give each notification a clear recipient and a practical next action.
THE OFFER
We plan around your routines, existing equipment and agreed responsibilities.
HOW WE START
Walk through guest and staff routines. Identify systems, permissions and the people responsible for them.
Choose one bounded area. Check guest controls, staff actions, device failures and the agreed privacy requirements.
Review the findings with your team. Agree any wider scope, staff training and support responsibilities before expanding.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
These examples come from Piotr’s own apartment. They inform planning; they are not completed hotel or business projects.
MOTION + LIGHT
A Hue motion sensor and ceiling lights work together in a timed sequence. Brightness, colour temperature and the daylight threshold are tuned for everyday use.

Room sensors feed a shared climate dashboard. Air-conditioning telemetry also supports a heat-buildup notification around the condenser.

A Shelly meter measures the circuit serving the audio setup and other connected equipment. Dashboards show live draw, energy history and configured device alerts.

The examples come from Piotr’s personal home installation. They show practical experience with sensors and integrations, not completed hotel installations. A hotel scope begins with assessment and a suitable pilot.
That needs a system-specific review of supported interfaces, permissions and vendor requirements. No hotel management or access-control integration is assumed. Home Assistant or Philips Hue may be considered for a defined pilot if they meet its requirements.
We agree which data is necessary, who can see it and how long it should be kept. Occupancy signals are not proof of a guest’s presence. Manual fallback, staff responsibilities, maintenance and support arrangements must be defined before rollout.
NEAR YOU
From Biel-Benken, for your project around the region. Scope, travel and on-site work are agreed personally.
FOR YOUR HOTEL
The location, existing equipment and one routine are enough to start. Consultations and project discussions preferably in English.
